Tell us about one of your superwoman moments:

It has been an enjoyable journey of many superwoman moments, not just one. I am proud of where I am now, a strong delivery head of a software product company, a role model and mentor for many of my colleagues, doting mother of 2 young adults, a happy wife of a busy IT husband, a caring Daughter and Daughter in law.

It wasn’t easy but High Energy and Positivity have been my biggest assets.

You ensure work-life balance by:

Creating a support system and taking help from family and friends – this is the critical and crucial piece in ensuring work-life balance. Planning/Organizing both at home and work, manage a single list – to make it easy to prioritize. Using Technology Wisely. Prioritizing what is important with effective time management.

You spend your weekends doing:

Spend time with family and for myself

Catch up on work only if needed

Plan/prepare for the week ahead

A piece of advice to increase women empowerment in the workplace:

Mentoring is very important. Have personally experienced the effectiveness.

Be flexible and agile

Showing consistent respect and courtesy

Rewarding fairly and equally

Few words of wisdom for the women reading this:

Work-Life Balance is critical. Success is in having a fruitful career and life, enjoying what is being done.

At each point, prioritize what is important. You cannot always do everything or be good to everyone. Learn to let go and Stay Positive and Happy!!
