Tell us about one of your superwoman moments:
A lot of employers follow the MBT guidelines in a letter for purposes of compliance. One of the initiatives I'm proud of is trying to understand and implement the Maternity Benefit Act in spirit. We understand that maternity is a life-changing experience for new or young mothers and we try and do our best to support women in this regard and ensure they don't miss out on work opportunities owing to maternity. While the MBT prescribes providing new mothers with a creche facility, corporates typically have one or two tie-ups in this area which may or may not be convenient options for female employees. By tying up with Work Advantage, we have opened up more than 200+ creches and play schools across NCR which women employees may choose from depending on their comfort, distance from home and convenience. Additionally, as an employer, we are welcoming of women who have taken a conscious break in their careers owing to personal reasons. We have many examples of women in our work-place who have been supported with super-normal leaves in cases of maternity or those who have many years of break in service but are managing meaningful roles with us now.

You ensure work-life balance by:
My mantra is to give 100% mind-share to the activity at hand. This means leaving work at the work-place, meditating, working out, spending time with family, friends and pets

You spend your weekends doing:
If not road tripping, I can usually be found painting, doing yoga, house-hold chores, culinary experiments and playing with my three dogs

A piece of advice to increase women empowerment in the workplace:
Diversified work-force with significant representation of women in the leadership team, gender-neutral policies including a safe & harassment-free workplace, coupled with a strong anti-discrimination policy and a robust grievance redressal system.

Few words of wisdom for the women reading this:
Let the fact that you're a woman only be a source of strength and inspiration, nothing else. Women can do everything that men can, and then some.
